The webinar on the topic "Space Economy. A Legal Framework" aims at examining the basic principles that govern activities in space. Starting from an historic standpoint, the lecturer will explain how the principles stated in international treaties have developed, also showing their current inefficiency. More in detail, the webinar focuses on the issues concerning the "geostationary orbit", the principles of non-appropriation (in particular, is it possible to pull out minerals from celestial bodies for commercial purposes?) and the "trouble" of space debris .
